JOB SUMMARY:
My client is looking for a Assistant Setter in Pretoria.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Start-up machine at the beginning of the shift
Setting tools using setting sheets, work instructions and priority plan
Obtain first off approval prior to commencement of production
Operating machines as and when required
Set Injection Moulding machine using process work instructions
Responsible for setting machines and assisting the responsible setter
Ensure high level housekeeping and plant maintenance
Adhere to company rules and regulations ie. Safety, Quality, Environmental etc…
Putting up required tools on various size machines according to the specified time limit
Attend to process problems on machines
Ensure that machines are operating at optimum cycle time, consistent with quality requirements and all-important safety requirements are in place
Complete last off process as per SOP
Assess last off against first off at the end of each production/tool change
Raise job cards to tool room for any repair needed on toolong

Minimum Qualification and Experience

ABET Level 4/ Matric
2-3 years production environment
Understanding of Injection Moulding
