Our client in the hospitality industry is urgently looking for an Assistant Wine Sales and Marketing Manager to join their organization

Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape

Requirements:

Matric
Relevant tertiary qualification
2-3 years of experience in a similar role
5-star hotel/wine estate experience is required
Must have good knowledge of wine
Previous sales experience, particularly in a direct-to-consumer role
Experience in managing an e-commerce site

Responsibilities:
Marketing and Brand Development:

Manage the coordination of all levels of branding production (labels, packaging, and capsules).
Responsible for submission of labels to SAWIS for approval.
Assist with the production of marketing collateral including gift packaging and brochures.
POS stock orders and management of distribution.

National Sales Support:

Manage all day-to-day communication with regional Brand Ambassadors and filters requests to the relevant department.
Supports the regional Brand Ambassadors by providing sales data, account analyses, new product information, and relaying customer services requests.
Facilitate all ad hoc requests from regional Brand Ambassadors, including support for tastings/events.
Liaise with the national distributor’s procurement department to update on all new releases, out-of-stock items, and limited releases.
Manage communication to other departments on the Estate with regard to stock volumes.

Online Sales:

Responsible for loading all promotional codes
Responsible for liaising with the Digital Coordinator to ensure all product information is loaded in line with promotional campaigns.
Ensure that all back-end systems are adhered to and work as efficiently as possible.
Continued improvement of back-end functionality

Wine Club Management:

Manage the development and execution of the Wine Club including structure, offerings, and marketing prior to launch.
Manage the wine stock and pricing thereof available to the Wine Club members.
Manage the Wine Club membership database (maintaining and growth).
Together with the Logistics Manager, facilitate all Wine Club scheduled shipments and ‘limited release offering’ orders.
