POSITION INFO:

FUNCTIONS

The candidate will be required to perform the following functions;

Advising company executives and the board of directors
Advising of acquisitions and disposals
Handling due diligence and corporate investigations
Drafting review, interpretation and vetting of contracts
Negotiation of contracts
Drafting legal opinions or memorandum of advice
Providing company secretariat support to businesses
Providing regulatory advice to businesses
Corporate law and general business advisory
Handling and advising on business financing or capital raising transactions
Factual and legal input on corporate disputes handled by the litigation department
Banking and Finance work

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

Exceptional ability as a business lawyer
Competent in drafting contracts
Strong negotiation ability
Resilient, able to work well under pressure and hardworking

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

LLB Degree
Must be an Admitted Attorney
3 - 4 years minimum proven experience in a business law practice environment
Studying towards or with a Master's in either Commercial Law, Corporate Law, Business Law, and Company Law.
