A specialist boutique IP law firm is seeking a talented Associate – IP Litigation to join its Johannesburg-based litigation team

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Manage and assist with IP and commercial litigation matters Draft pleadings, applications, affidavits, heads of argument and other litigation documents Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions and advice Prepare matters for High Court proceedings, hearings and trials Liaise with clients, counsel, experts and other stakeholders Assist with discovery, trial preparation and settlement negotiations Manage litigation files, deadlines and client communication Work closely with senior practitioners on complex IP matters Requirements LLB Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa 3-5 years' post-admission experience Meaningful litigation experience Experience in intellectual property litigation Strong legal drafting and research skills Knowledge of South African civil procedure Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines Commercially minded with strong attention to detail Consultant: Danielle Fortuin - Dante Personnel Johannesburg Apply via our website If you do not hear from us within 5 days, please accept that your application was unsuccessful
