Audit Manager – Business Operations

SUMMARY:
Mindworx is currently recruiting for one of our clients in the Parastatal industry, looking for an Audit Manager, within Internal Audit Department. Developing an audit universe of all auditable Investment and Operations processes, a flexible risk-based 3-year rolling audit plan, and overseeing its execution to ensure timely completion of engagements.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements: 

• Grade 12 
• A Post Graduate Degree in Internal Auditing / Accounting / Investment Management or a related discipline
• Industry recognized certifications such as CFA/ CIA / CA/ CIMA/ACCA or working towards obtaining one
• 5-8 years relevant experience, of which at least 3 years must be in a management role

Competencies and skills: 

• Knowledge of financial markets 
• Knowledge of PFMA and treasury regulations
• Knowledge of the IFRS reporting framework
• Knowledge of best practice frameworks such as King IV, COSO, among others 
• Experience in managing audits in treasury and financial services companies
