JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing and executing financial, compliance, operational and governance audits in accordance with IIA professional standards. The Audit Manager will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, guiding and supporting trainees allocated to audits. The Audit Manager will be responsible for representing Group Internal Audit on relevant project teams, steering committees and management committees.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

• BCom Honors
• CIA minimum or CA (SA) essential           

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• At least 5/7 years’ experience in auditing is essential
• Completed SAICA articles or 3 years’ internal audit training within a large audit firm
• 3+ years Audit experience within a bank is essential
• At least 1 year experience of working with/in integrated audit teams (technology, data, analytics etc.)
• Working knowledge of internal auditing theories and standards and ability to plan audits in accordance with IIA standards
