Audit Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client, a well-established Accounting firm, is on the lookout for an ambitious and focused Audit Manager with strong technical knowledge, to join their Audit team, based in Durbanville, Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant.
• Experience in Caseware.
• Proficient with MS Office.

• Minimum 3 years working experience Post SAICA Articles.
• Audit team management and co-ordination experience.

Duties and responsibilities:

• PFMA and MFMA audit.
• Responsible for leading and directing all aspects of audit services delivered.
• Leading Audit team.
• Audit lead on large private and fully/JSE listed clients.
• Partners support in marketing activity and in group sales, through client pitches, group networking marketing event attendance.
• Contribution of new business relations development.
• Support Partners with the implementation and communication of any new business strategy to existing clients.
• Provide coaching to assisting team members to achieve their personal career goals.
• Responsible for resource planning and allocation, performance management, training and recommendations for promotions.
• Key Account Management participation.
• Cooperation with central departments on risk management, technical and other matters.
• Responsible for maximising profitability from a portfolio of clients.
• Direct engagement with clients on audit judgement and technical decisions.

Additional Information:

• Operating Hours:  8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.   
• Candidates would be required to travel to client’s location as required from time to time, therefore own reliable transport is required.
