JOB SUMMARY:
Are you passionate about external auditing? One of the top rated medium sized audit and advisory firms is looking for Audit Managers to join their diverse, energetic and vibrant team. The successful incumbent will be a CA(SA) with minimum 3 years’ experience in a manager role at an external audit firm. You will be working with their JSE listed and international clients on auditing and consulting. Reporting to the partners you will have the opportunity to implement new systems and procedures.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Monthly monitoring of budget, actual and variance of all budgets
Preparation and presentation of annual budgets
Preparation and presentation of management and audit reports at Audit Committee meetings
Assessing the competencies of trainees against SAICA criteria, etc.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

Matric
BCom Accounting or equivalent
BCom Accounting Honours/CTA
Qualified CA(SA)

Experience:

Completed 3 years of articles (Big 4 or medium audit firm would be advantageous)
Listed clients’ experience
3 years’ experience within external auditing as a manager

Skills & Competencies:

Knowledge of ERP systems
Passionate about external auditing
Knowledge of IFRS and JSE listing requirements
