JOB SUMMARY:

Our client is an international brand with a massive presence in the South African market. They are looking for an experienced Audit professional who had a deep understanding of the Insurance sector to join their team as an Audit Manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Some of the duties will be:

Identifying audit issues
Detailed analysis of client’s financial statements
Risk identification
Analytical trend analysis
Client engagement
Staff management
People development (training, coaching and mentoring)
Identifying risk and opportunities for clients

Requirements
Qualified CA(SA) – preference with first time board passes
Articles at a Big 4 Audit firm
Minimum of 2 years post article experience – preferably in the Insurance sector
At least 1year people management experience within a traditional audit environment
Understanding of quality and risk requirements
Excellent understanding of IFRS and GAAP (Local) with in the Insurance sector
Must not be longer than 2 years out of Audit
