POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Develop and maintain data analytics, build dashboards for visualization and identify trends, increasing efficiency and effectiveness of audits
Provide data analytics within combined assurance reviews and audit projects in collaboration with auditors and management
Develop and maintain scheduled and automated data analytics for follow-up processes to ensure continuous audit monitoring
Maintain appropriate IT systems and additional tools within the internal audit and forensics function that supports and enhances automated audit and investigation processes
Focus on the design, development and implementation of solutions to support a data driven audit approach into all parts of the audit lifecycle in order to meet objectives by creating stakeholder value, improving efficiencies and enhancing assurance efforts

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

Matric
BCom Informatics / BCom Data Science / BSc Computer Science
BCom Honours in Accounting or Auditing
Other relevant data and analytics certifications
CA(SA) / Completed CIA

Experience:

Minimum 5 years working experience in data and analytics/Internal/IT/External audits
Minimum 2 years at supervisor level in leading audit analytics engagements
Sound knowledge of data analytics (data gathering, transformation, modelling, analytical execution, visualization and reporting)
Knowledge and use of analytic tools, SAP, Teammate, or similar audit software
