The Internal Audit team is seeking a driven and insightful Senior Internal Auditor to take on a key role in ensuring the effective management of governance, risk, and compliance across our diverse group. Duties:

• Lead audits of governance, financial, operational, and business processes at both divisional and business unit levels.
• Plan and define the scope of internal audit projects with the Internal Audit Manager.
• Conduct detailed process analyses and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls using tools like process maps and risk matrices.
• Incorporate data analytics into audit planning to create efficiencies and deeper insights during fieldwork.
• Assess governance, risk management, and internal controls to identify and communicate root causes of issues.
• Provide pragmatic, value-adding recommendations for risk management, compliance improvement, and business process enhancement.
• Collaborate with control owners and management to discuss findings and recommendations.
• Prepare high-quality audit reports that summarize findings and outcomes.
• Deliver audit assignments within agreed budgets and timelines, maintaining compliance with quality standards.
• Support the Head of Internal Audit and other senior audit management in additional operational and reporting activities.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and cost-savings, and propose practical solutions to enhance client processes and audit practices.

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom / BTech
• BCom (Hons) degree in Finance/Internal Auditing
• CIA will be highly advantageous

• 5-8 Years Internal Audit experience
• 2-3 years of experience at a senior internal audit level (Audit Senior/Supervisor or Assistant Manager).
• Experience with SAP and advanced knowledge of internal control processes are beneficial.
• Knowledge of retail operations, including customer credit services, will be highly valued.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Advanced Excel, SQL) and auditing IT general controls is a strong plus.
• Excellent skills in MS Office or Google Workspace (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations).

• Ability to manage multiple projects, work autonomously and in teams, and deliver high-quality results.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical thinking skills.
