JOB SUMMARY:
Urgently looking for immediately available Audit manager and a registered CA(SA)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duration: ASAP until end of April most likely (Period will be confirmed)
Availability: Immediately
Qualification: CA(SA) - SAICA

The person needs to display the following:

Needs to have advanced excel experience
Comfortable working with multiple data sets
Understands link between local and reporting GL/TBs
Competent in reviewing large volumes of data
Oracle experience would be advantageous
Technically strong in accounting
Familiar with intercompany transactions
Thoughrough understanding of TB/GL/SL relationships
Familiar with requirements in being audit ready
Strong personality in being able to convey messages across appropriately
Able to lead and be part of the team as per demands of the role occupied
Solutionist thinking and driving results over the line – take ownership
Able to mentor/direct staff of varying competency levels and getting hands dirty when needed
Firm leadership in driving the team forward

Day to day

Review team’s progress on respective reconciliations
Anticipate any issues/challenges impacting delivery of audit readiness project
Maintaining status/tracker update reports and issues log
Escalating appropriately any issues requiring resolution on behalf of the team
Provide directions to auditors request and ensuring respective teams members address promptly
Manage internal timelines to ensure overall deadline is met.
Run TB/GL as needed for team members to ensure recons are final
Identify with input from team, any control/process issues
