SUMMARY:
Automation Engineer position in the Netherlands. Refrigeration and Heat pump manufacturer. BEng/ BTech in Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering qualified. Working experience in PLCs, Automation, P&ID diagrams, Schematics, and Electrical Engineering principles required. Responsible to ensure best automation processes for refrigeration plants and solutions for the food industry are in place.

International company supplying refrigeration and heat pumps to a variety of clientele in the food and food processing industry. A world leader with offices globally.

The Automation Engineer we require will form part of the team that ensures projects and associated automation process technology, and machinery are supplied on a world-class level.

Minimum requirements:

BSc/BEng/BTech (Electrical/Electronic/ Mechatronic Engineering).
Ideally have skills in automation frameworks (Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC, Rockwell, Visual Basic.; .NET)
Solid understanding of P&ID diagrams and electrical schematics.
Willing to pick up a study specialized in industrial refrigeration and heat pumps.
Version control program knowledge

Responsibilities:

Project planning, budgets, and project engineering functions
Standardization
Ensure that an entire automation part of the industrial Refrigeration plant and/ or heat pumps are functioning effectively.
Work within the Project Management Group
Manage, develop, and innovate (default) software tools
Determine control algorithms needed for plants and parts
Support a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)
Provide technical support to other offices
