POSITION INFO:
Job Description: Develop, program, and maintain PLC-controlled systems and equipment Configure, support, and optimize SCADA and HMI applications Troubleshoot and resolve automation, control system, and process-related issues Support new equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning activities Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce downtime Work closely with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to ensure optimal system performance Develop and maintain technical documentation, control philosophies, and operating procedures Monitor and improve automated processes to meet operational and quality objectives Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards Skills & Experience: 3 - 10 years' experience in automation, control systems, or production environments Proven experience working with PLC-controlled processes and systems Strong PLC programming experience Hands-on experience with SCADA systems and HMI development Experience with industrial networks, communication protocols, and control systems Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities Experience with system commissioning, optimization, and operational support Knowledge of process improvement and production efficiency principles Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
