SUMMARY:
Financial services giant is seeking an experience Automation Test Analyst to join their team. This role will require you to work across traditional and Agile lifecycles. Work closely with the technology background, specializing in Test Automation, automation technologies and automation measurement. Create rapid and iterative wireframes for prototyping for a variety of ideas and concepts.

POSITION INFO:

Automation Tester required to join Lightstone’s product development team to:

Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts
Identify opportunities for scripting optimization
Estimate test efforts accurately and coordinate with team members for work activities
Maintaining a well organised test automation framework while proactively finding solutions for automation problems
Work alongside members of the delivery team to deliver automated outcomes within given timelines
Record test results and report and verify software bug fixes to accept automation criteria
Be committed to developing skills (continuous learning) to provide up-to-date solutions

Qualifications

Matric and a relevant tertiary qualification required in test automation or equivalent
Qualification in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field advantageous

Experience

Previous experience as an Automation tester.
Proficient in scripting, writing scripted modules
Awareness of automation principles
Programming languages, such as C# and Java with at least 2 years’ experience as a junior developer or automation tester
Knowledge of automation technologies and frameworks such as:
Modular Based Testing Framework.
Library Architecture Testing Framework.
Data-Driven Framework.
Keyword-Driven Framework.
Hybrid Testing Framework
Selenium o Cucumber
Understanding of CI
Linear Automation Framework.
Agile/Scrum software development experience advantageous

Technical skills

Proficient in programming languages, such as C# and Java
Demonstratable experience of software testing tools, such as Selenium
Working knowledge of API testing tools that require strong coding skills to create test such as REST Assured, RestSharp etc.
Knowledge of Continuous Integration Tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.)

Experience working with JIRA advantageous

Mathematical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
Self-development skills to keep up to date with fast-changing trends
Ability to work alone and within a team
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable engaging at any level of the organization to provide articulate answers to technical questions
