The Finance Administrator will be responsible for managing debtors, creditors, and cash books to ensure accurate financial records and smooth transaction processing. This role requires strong attention to detail, efficiency in reconciling accounts, and the ability to support the finance team with daily administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial operations, with a full understanding and hands on experience within a dealership environment and a proactive approach to maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial data

POSITION INFO:
Duties include

• Verify invoices and GRVs for accuracy, ensuring proper authorization before processing in Evolve.
• Reconcile supplier statements with accounts payable records and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and process payment runs.
• Maintain accurate creditor accounts, including contact details and payment terms.
• Handle supplier and internal queries related to payments, invoices, and account statuses.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Assist in preparing month-end accounts payable reports.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Invoice Processing & Reconciliation – Capture, verify, and reconcile supplier invoices with purchase orders and statements to ensure accurate payments.
• Payments & Supplier Management – Prepare payment runs, process EFTs, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely payments and account accuracy.
• Expense Tracking & Reporting – Monitor dealership expenses, allocate costs to the correct accounts, and generate financial reports for management review.
• Bank & Cashbook Reconciliation – Reconcile bank statements and cash books to ensure all transactions are recorded and accounted for correctly.
• Compliance & Documentation – Maintain proper financial records, ensure compliance with accounting policies, and assist with audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Perform general administrative tasks as required.

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Bookkeeping Diploma/Financial qualification (advantageous).
• 3+ years as a Creditors/Debtors Clerk or similar role.
• Strong Creditors & Debtors knowledge.
• Experience with accounting software (CMS, Evolve, IAL preferred).
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Detail-oriented and works well under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent organization and time management.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
