JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Platform Engineer, you''ll be responsible for designing and building new services in the Azure Cloud Platform. You will work with engineers from other teams to develop scalable solutions that meet customer needs. You will have knowledge of Azure technologies such as SQL Database Service, Azure Automation Framework and Storage as a Service (SaaS).

– Creates and implements the pipeline for provisioning and testing environments, enabling rapid development of applications across cloud platform

– Implements automation to support application deployment and configuration.

– Troubleshoots and fixes issues encountered with new and existing code deployments.

– Is able to identify common issues and implement solutions.

– Acts as a technical point of contact to work with partners and the broader community, who have unique knowledge and expertise needed to support Azure.

– Maintains knowledge of new technologies and practices as they arise and how they might affect other services and projects.

– Effectively communicates with internal teams and stakeholders to discuss current workloads, future scenarios, and actions to take for the team.

– Azure Administration (AZ-104)

– Virtual Desktop AZ-140

– Azure Platform experience and knowledge required
