SUMMARY:
A Senior Consultant in transformation and strategy advisory, with good understanding of the B-BBEE scorecard, is needed.

POSITION INFO:
A leading transformation and strategy advisory firm is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join its growing team. This role is suited to a strategic, commercially astute professional who thrives at the executive level and is passionate about driving meaningful, sustainable transformation in South Africa.

You will operate as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and Boards, guiding organisations through complex transformation initiatives. In addition to client-facing consulting, the role includes practice management responsibilities, team leadership, and commercial oversight of a client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate strategy and transformation engagements for listed and multinational clients
Design and implement sustainable transformation solutions aligned to legislative and commercial frameworks
Advise clients on B-BBEE, Employment Equity, supply chain transformation, localisation, SMME development, and socio-economic initiatives
Analyse complex datasets and support B-BBEE audit preparation and facilitation
Lead and manage a consulting team, ensuring operational efficiency and commercial sustainability
Contribute to business growth through client development, new product offerings, and best-practice case studies
Mentor and develop junior consultants while fostering a high-performance, values-driven culture

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record
Minimum 5 years managerial experience in a professional or consulting environment
CA(SA) is beneficial
Strong knowledge on the B-BBEE scorecard
Strong strategic thinking, financial acumen, and analytical capability
Confident communicator able to influence executives and Boards
Proven project and practice management experience
Comfortable using AI, digital tools, and data-driven methodologies
A collaborative leader with high emotional intelligence and a passion for transformation
