A leading commercial office-furniture company is seeking an experienced B2B Sales Executive to join its Sandton team and drive new business and customer growth.

POSITION INFO:
his is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven salesperson with strong knowledge of the office-furniture industry, who enjoys building relationships, generating new opportunities and converting sales. Duties & Responsibilities Generate new B2B customers and commercial furniture opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with: Corporate clients Office-furniture dealers Interior designers Architects Space planners Procurement teams Present and sell office chairs, desks and related furniture ranges. Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products across premium and value-focused ranges. Sell on quality, value and suitability rather than simply price. Prepare quotations and manage opportunities through to completion. Conduct consistent prospecting, customer visits and follow-ups. Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide realistic sales forecasts. Negotiate commercially while protecting margins. Achieve agreed monthly and annual sales targets. Develop repeat business and long-term customer relationships. Grow and manage a substantial commercial furniture customer portfolio. Desired Experience & Qualification Minimum of 3 years'' relevant B2B sales experience , ideally 5 years. Experience within commercial office furniture or a closely related industry. Proven experience selling to businesses or industry intermediaries rather than only walk-in retail customers. Practical knowledge of office chairs, desks or workplace furniture. Proven ability to prospect, develop a pipeline and convert opportunities into sales. Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills. Strong commercial judgement and the ability to protect margins. A proactive, target-driven and self-motivated approach. Ability to work independently without constant supervision. Excellent persistence, accountability and follow-through. Valid driver''s licence and reliable transport. Advantageous An established professional network within the commercial furniture, design or workplace industry. Existing relationships with corporates, dealers, designers, architects or space planners. Previous experience selling premium commercial furniture solutions.
