This role is responsible for taking full ownership of day-to-day client relationships across an active client portfolio.

POSITION INFO:
Client Engagement Lead Lead client relationships, drive HubSpot adoption, and ensure strategic GTM projects are delivered with precision across a portfolio of B2B clients. Location: Fully Remote (South Africa) | Working Arrangement: Remote | Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM UK time (flexibility between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM depending on daily requirements) | Salary: R51,000.00 - R55,000.00 per month (£28,800-£30,000 annually) ABOUT OUR CLIENT Our client is a B2B Go-To-Market (GTM) and revenue operations consultancy specialising in HubSpot implementation, CRM architecture, Clay-based data enrichment, and signal-led outbound systems. They support B2B clients across the SaaS, professional services, and manufacturing sectors, delivering services through both agency-led projects and embedded client-side GTM roles. THE ROLE: CLIENT ENGAGEMENT LEAD This role is responsible for taking full ownership of day-to-day client relationships across an active client portfolio. Acting as the operational bridge between strategic planning and delivery execution, you will translate strategic direction into clearly defined project scopes, manage client communications, oversee project delivery, and monitor overall account health. You will combine project management, client relationship management, and commercial awareness to ensure projects are delivered accurately, quality standards are maintained, and opportunities for account growth are identified. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Drive HubSpot platform adoption across Marketing, Sales, and Service Hubs. Align HubSpot infrastructure with client sales pipelines, marketing objectives, and business analytics. Translate strategic direction into detailed project scopes with realistic delivery estimates. Maintain proactive communication with clients through regular check-ins. Provide strategic planning input during ongoing client engagements. Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs). Deliver client HubSpot training sessions and show-and-tell demonstrations. Manage project delivery by running weekly team stand-ups. Hold delivery specialists accountable to sprint commitments. Maintain Mutual Action Plans across client projects. Enforce QA sign-off before task completion. Identify and escalate scope creep early. Monitor client health using HubSpot''s Red, Amber, Green (RAG) usage system. Identify account risk signals to help prevent client churn. Deliver accurate, transparent, and proactive client status reporting. Identify cross-sell, upsell, and account expansion opportunities. Contribute strategic ideas to improve the overall client engagement function. ABOUT YOU Senior hands-on expertise across HubSpot Marketing, Sales, and Service Hubs. Proven experience managing multiple client accounts concurrently within an agency, consultancy, or client-facing revenue operations environment. Strong project management experience translating strategic briefs into executable project plans. Experience running stand-ups and managing sprint delivery. Executive-level written and verbal communication skills with a consultative approach. Strong analytical thinking with the ability to adapt when scope, client requirements, or priorities change. Demonstrated ability to provide accurate, transparent status reporting. Strong organisational discipline to prevent service drift. Background within B2B SaaS, professional services, or manufacturing preferred. Capability to balance delivery accountability with client relationship ownership. Ability to provide realistic delivery estimates without over-promising. Trustworthy and credible in managing client expectations.
