A defence company in Centurion is seeking a business development engineer.

POSITION INFO:
We're looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Engineer to join our team and help expand our market presence, foster client relationships, and translate technical capabilities into business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in line with company goals
• Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to tailor solutions for client needs
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions
• Prepare technical proposals and deliver impactful presentations to potential clients
• Negotiate contracts and close deals that align with business objectives
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide ongoing support

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field)
• Experience in business development, sales engineering, or technical sales
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and communicate complex solutions
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding business development targets
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel as required
• 85% Matric average
