A leading financial services organisation is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join their Collections team. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimising debit order collections, enhancing payment success rates, and driving continuous improvements through data analysis, strategy development, and process optimisation.
 
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams across Data, Credit Risk, IT, Operations, and Finance while contributing to strategic initiatives that improve collections performance, reduce transaction costs, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Manage and monitor the day-to-day performance of debit order collections and authentication processes. Design, implement, and optimise collection tracking and pay-day strategies to maximise payment success. Analyse collections data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement. Reduce transaction costs by identifying inefficiencies and implementing process enhancements. Ensure compliance with applicable payment regulations, industry standards, and legislative requirements. Job Experience and Skills Required: Relevant tertiary qualification in a quantitative, analytical, or related field. 5+ years of experience within debit order collections, payments, preferably within financial services or unsecured lending. Strong understanding of the National Credit Act, collections processes, and debit order authentication frameworks. Proven experience developing and optimising collections or payment strategies. Strong SQL skills with experience in data extraction, reporting, and analysis. Apply now!
