Qualifications / Requirements:

• Relevant Diploma/Degree in IT / Industrial Engineering / Business or Data Analysis
• IT experience in development and BI
• Visualization experience in any BI Analytical Tool
• Data analysis experience
• Database design or integration experience with SQL server databases
• Basic experience in C#
• Extensive SQL query and update knowledge
• Must have the ability to present BI solutions
• COBIT experience / knowledge (advantageous)
• ITIL experience / knowledge (advantageous)
• Proven experience in Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
• Exceptional facilitation, presentation and elicitation skills
• Ability to manage, lead and influence globally dispersed resources effectively and efficiently

Key Performance Areas:

• BI analysis:

• Analysis solution design signoff - Structure the raw data collected during requirements elicitation, identify gaps in the information and define and describe the characteristics of an acceptable solution to a business problem, so that the enhancement team has a clear understanding of how to design and implement it
• Change management
• Identify data quality issues and support the data governance initiative by participating in necessary activities including data profiling

• BI development and support:

• Promote the use of Business Intelligence (BI) tools and concepts across the organisation
• Translate project requirements into functional and non-functional specifications for BI reports and applications
• Design and implement reporting applications including BI dashboards, reporting cubes and static reports
• Develop BI portals for customers and internal use and ensure production rollout of the models
• Conduct training for customers on the BI solution on a regular basis
• Develop and optimise SQL queries and ensure optimal performance
• Improve and streamline processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve data accuracy, viability and value

• Analysis and communication:

• Data gathering, research and analytical abilities so as to develop insightful conclusions and generate solutions to address User needs
• Direct quality assurance and User acceptance testing by writing test plans
• Oversee the ongoing development and operations of a business intelligence architecture that enables fact-based decision making and ad-hoc analysis and insight generation

• Analysis:

• Identify business improvement and optimization opportunities that will result in improvement of process performance both internally and externally (clients)
• Analysis of supply chain related information to determine demand profile in relation to facilities, equipment and systems, fleet and distribution network
• Plan the efficient and effective flow and storage of goods, information and services from point of origin to destination in accordance with customer requirements
