POSITION INFO:

We are looking for a skilled and solutions-driven BI Developer to join our team. This role will focus on maintaining and enhancing BI scripts, integrating external systems (including Dovetail), securing access to data views, and embedding BI solutions into platforms like SharePoint. The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of scripting, integration, and data visualization skills, with a sharp eye for business logic and security.

What you’ll do:

• Maintain and enhance existing BI scripts, calculated fields, and KPI logic.
• Manage and maintain data integrations with platforms such as Dovetail, including sales manifests and related touchpoints.
• Implement and manage user access and security controls across BI reports and dashboards.
• Embed BI dashboards and reports into SharePoint or other web-based platforms.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Build, test, and maintain robust, scalable BI solutions that meet business needs.
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout BI processes.

Your expertise:

• 3–5+ years’ experience in a BI Developer or Analyst role.
• Strong scripting ability using SQL, DAX, or M (Power Query).
• Experience with BI platforms such as Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau.
• Proven experience integrating third-party systems (preferably Dovetail or similar CRM/logistics tools).
• Solid understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Knowledge of row-level security, user-based filtering, and data governance best practices.
• Ability to embed reports/dashboards into SharePoint or web portals.
• Exposure to API integration or middleware tools is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
