Duties:

Define a structured approach to problem solving and delivery
Create design standards, patterns, and principles
Data management, development, and modelling
Engage with a wide range of technical stakeholders including data scientists, business analysts, data engineers, database
Administrate and provide solutions architects
Mentor Junior Full Stack Developers

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative related field (Information Technology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Science, Engineering)

Experience:

3 - 5 years full stack developer experience
Application and data engineering experience with a solid background in SQL
Experience with data architecture design and delivery
Database technologies SAP Hana and Teradata
Hadoop components including HDFS, Hive, Spark, Oozie and Impala
Object-oriented/object functional scripting languages: Python, Java, Scala
ETL tools SAP Data Services
Event/Streaming based data pipelines Kafka or Nifi
Data warehousing Kimball and Data Vault patterns
Dimensional data modelling OLAP and MDX
