BIM Technician

Develop graphical model virtually for wet services including domestics, sanitation and drainage installations.
BIM modelling of fire services – automatics sprinkler installations and fire hydrant and hose reels installations

Ensure that the model aligns with standards according to BEPx and BIM Project Workflow.

Ensure models are coordinated internally and/or externally with other discipline design and model changes to avoid other clash of other services.

Develop accurate design construction and as built drawings from the graphical model.

Ensure all company workflows and standards are met on all company projects

Ensuring project deadlines are met as per the project programme

Coordination of BIM technicians, coordinators, and managers

Provide insight on developing future technologies within BIM and the VDC environment.

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 5 years BIM experience
BIM workflow as well as project setup as well as multidisciplinary coordination on projects

Autodesk Navisworks Manage for coordination.

Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit MEP

CDE software is advantageous (ACC, BIM 360, Procore, Synergy, Aconex).

Other BIM Authoring software is advantageous. (e.g., ArchiCAD, MicroStation, Inventor, Solidworks).

Qualification:

Draughting certificate/N4 N5 advatageous

AUTOCAD essential certificate

AutoDesk Certified is advantageous

Revit essentials certificate

AutoDesk Certified Asssociate /Professional expert advantageous
