Brand Manager – Hotels Location: Head Office Closing Date: 14 August 2026 About the Role We are seeking an experienced and creative Brand Manager to develop and implement effective brand strategies and annual marketing plans for a portfolio of hotel brands. The successful candidate will support the Hotel Business Strategy and Group Marketing Strategy, strengthen brand positioning and deliver marketing initiatives that address key commercial priorities. This role requires a strategic thinker who can protect brand integrity while managing campaigns, content, events, media, budgets and stakeholder relationships. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement hotel brand strategies and annual marketing plans. Strengthen the positioning and commercial performance of the hotel brands. Ensure all marketing activities comply with corporate identity guidelines, brand standards, internal approval processes and relevant regulations. Compile content, select imagery, create storyboards and brief design teams. Manage the creative process for social media content, newsletters, brochures and sales presentations. Develop and roll out hotel packages and promotional campaigns. Plan and manage seasonal marketing campaigns. Coordinate trade exhibitions, events and brand activations. Manage loyalty programme activations. Develop and maintain branded collateral. Source promotional materials, hand-outs and corporate gifting. Maintain hotel booking-engine images and supporting brand content. Manage sponsorship-related communication and event branding. Evaluate, book, brief and manage media partners. Manage marketing budgets, supplier quotations and payment processes. Coordinate stakeholders, creative teams, suppliers and internal departments. Support additional hotel-related marketing projects as required. Minimum Requirements Matric or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field. Three to five years’ experience as a Marketer or Brand Manager. Previous marketing or brand-management experience within the hotel industry. Strong understanding of consumer behaviour, market dynamics and branding principles. Experience managing marketing campaigns, creative content and brand collateral. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent attention to detail. Strong stakeholder, supplier and project-management skills. Ideal Candidate You are a creative and commercially minded marketing professional with a strategic approach to brand development. You are comfortable managing multiple projects, coordinating stakeholders and overseeing campaigns from concept through to implementation. You are service-oriented, highly organised and able to work independently. You combine strong attention to detail with the ability to think creatively, solve problems and maintain consistent brand standards across every customer touchpoint.
