SUMMARY:
Brand Manager

POSITION INFO:
Develop and implement effective brand strategies and annual marketing plans that support the Hotel Business Strategy and the Group Marketing Strategy, strengthening the positioning of the hotel brands and addressing commercial business priorities Protect the integrity of the hotel brands and ensure that all marketing activity complies with Group Corporate Identity, brand standards, internal approval requirements and relevant Gaming Board regulations Liaise with key stakeholders, compile content, select images, storyboard, brief the design teams and manage the creative process to deliver: Monthly social media paid for content Newsletters Brochure ware Sales presentations Packages and promotional campaigns Trade exhibitions Plan and manage the roll-out of seasonal campaigns Brand and source promotional hand-outs and gifting Maintain the various Booking Engine images Coordinate and manage events and activations Manage budgets, obtain quotes and manage payment processes to suppliers Develop and maintain branded collateral Manage sponsorships in relation to collaborative communications and branding of the event Evaluate, book, brief and manage media Ad hoc hotel related projects Loyalty programme activations Essential pre-requisites: Matric (NQF 4), Bachelor's degree in marketing or business administration or a related field, 3-5 years' experience as a marketer\/brand manager in the hotel industry. A strong understanding of consumer behaviour, market dynamics and branding principles, high attention to detail, service orientated, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, a self- starter who is a creative thinker with a strategic mindset.
