Backend Developer

SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a Backend Developer ready to step behind the digital veil and help shape the systems powering the world beneath the surface.

POSITION INFO:

Much like Neo’s journey from questioning the construct to mastering its deepest layers you’ll design, develop, and maintain the robust backend services that keep business‑critical applications stable and resilient. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, you’ll craft clean, efficient, and secure solutions while contributing to system architecture that evolves with purpose and clarity. This role suits engineers who thrive in agile environments, relish deciphering complex problems, and take pride in building reliable platforms that anchor the entire digital reality.

Skills & Experience:
Strong backend development experience using Java or similar object‑oriented languages
Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices crafting the digital pathways and modular services that let data move through the Matrix with purpose and precision.
Solid understanding of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) knowing where information lives, how it shifts, and how to retrieve it like navigating the Source itself.
Exposure to cloud platforms and containerised environments
Experience working in Agile development teams
Knowledge of CI/CD practices and automated testing principles

Qualification:
Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Relevant backend development experience in a production environment
