POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain the systems that power modern applications Build scalable APIs and backend services that support seamless user experiences Optimise application performance, reliability, and security Collaborate with Frontend Developers, Product Owners, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions Design efficient database structures and data flows Troubleshoot complex issues and drive continuous system improvements Contribute to architectural decisions and best engineering practices Ensure backend systems are built to scale as products and users grow Job Experience and Skills Required: Minimum 3+ years' of Backend Development experience Strong proficiency in Java, C#, Python, Node.js, Go, or similar backend technologies Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices Solid understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, or DynamoDB Experience working within cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Knowledge of CI\/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, or containerisation technologies Understanding of system performance, scalability, and security best practices Experience working in Agile development environment This is an opportunity to join our talent pool and be considered for future opportunities with leading organisations across South Africa.
