SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-driven Bank Reconciliation Specialist to manage complex, high-volume financial data across multiple passenger booking channels within the intercity transport sector.
This role plays a critical part in preventing revenue leakage by ensuring accurate reconciliation of ticket sales, bank transactions, and ERP records across physical branches, online platforms, and third-party booking partners.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Multi-Channel Revenue Reconciliation Reconcile daily ticket sales from 11 branch POS terminals (Ratality) against bank deposits Match online bookings to payment gateway settlement reports Reconcile third-party booking agents, aggregators, and travel agency payouts Verify commissions, net payments, and passenger manifests Variance Investigation & Resolution Investigate cash shortages or overages at branch level Resolve discrepancies linked to delayed cash collections (e.g., armoured vehicle services) Track and reconcile: Ticket cancellations and refunds Passenger no-shows Credit card chargebacks Identify delays between ticket sales and actual cash receipts Systems Reconciliation (Sage & Ratality POS) Import and reconcile large volumes of POS transaction data into Sage ERP Process bulk entries for: Ticket sales Merchant fees Third-party commissions Maintain clean clearing accounts to avoid month-end backlogs Ensure full audit trail and accurate transaction records Month-End Close & Reporting Complete reconciliations within strict deadlines (typically within 3 business days ) Produce detailed branch and channel performance reports Prepare structured reconciliation schedules for auditors Provide insights into revenue variances across routes and booking platforms Minimum Requirements Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping Experience 2-4 years' experience in reconciliation roles within: Transport Logistics Hospitality High-volume retail environments Technical Skills Strong working knowledge of: Sage ERP (Evolution, Sage 300, or Business Cloud) Ratality POS or similar ticketing systems Advanced Excel skills: Power Query Pivot Tables XLOOKUP Ability to handle and analyze large data sets (CSV exports) Fast and accurate data entry skills Core Competencies Strong analytical and investigative mindset Ability to understand complex data flows across multiple systems Effective communication with internal teams and external partners Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines High attention to detail and accuracy APPLY NOW
