POSITION INFO:

Manage and reconcile multi‑currency bank accounts, ensuring accurate daily cash positions
Oversee cashflow and bank balances, supporting the Accountant and Financial Manager
Capture and reconcile bank statements, debtor receipts, and credit card transactions
Process creditor payments accurately and on time, including beneficiary setup and payment approvals
Maintain and manage SAGE Accpac cashbook with daily postings and reconciliations
Handle debtor management, including allocations, suspense accounts, invoicing, refunds, and age analysis
Ensure client refunds are processed and recorded correctly across all systems
Optimize returns on cash holdings through smart account and investment management
Control and reconcile petty cash and foreign currency cash, ensuring policy compliance
Manage bank relationships, negotiate fees, and support treasury and investment strategies
Oversee staff travel and reimbursements, ensuring correct GL and VAT treatment
Deliver key MIS and month‑end reports (cashflow, debtors, refunds, bank charges)
Manage banking and debtor inboxes, ensuring prompt, organised, and professional communication
Act as a support and back‑up to the Team Leader, assisting with queries, batching, and approvals when required

Skills & Experience:
Strong general accounting knowledge and experience
Experience in dealing with foreign currencies
Sage 300 Accpac knowledge (advantageous)
Strong Excel skills
Computer skills, MS Office, Standard Bank Business Online
Analytical skills, highly numeric
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Multi country and multi-currency treasury management
Merchant facility and credit card payment processes management
Banking management
Debtors management

Qualification:
Tertiary Finance qualification
Minimum 3+ years of experience
