POSITION INFO:

A big player within the Engineering space is seeking a Bid Lead Strategist to join their team to be based in JHB East. This role will challenge your thinking and problem-solving abilities.

The Key Responsibilities for this Role Include

• Manage all strategic aspects of bids and estimates to ensure competitiveness
• Preparation of estimates, review (planning, construction, and procurement), and administration of contractual proposals relating to construction projects
• Advise on minimisation of project costs 

Qualification 

• Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying / Building or similar

Experience

• 7+ years’ experience Bid and Tenders experience within a Engineering / Construction industry
• Solid understanding of Contract Conditions such as NEC and FIDIC
• Experience dealing with Engineering Sites within Power Plants or Heavy Industrial Projects
• Experience with Construction Computer Software (CCS)
• Exposure to Mechanical, Structural and Piping environment (advantageous)
• Must have a valid driver's license
