A well-established, JSE listed conglomerate seeks a AR Billing Manager to join their shared services finance team based in Johannesburg North.

A well-established, JSE listed conglomerate seeks a AR Billing Manager to join their shared services finance team based in Johannesburg North.

The purpose of this role will be to manage the accounts receivable billing process and function. You will oversee the daily management of the AR billing staff and processes and ensure company policies and procedures are being adhered to.

You will also have to actively identify opportunities to drive standardisation and improve processes. The successful incumbent will manage a team of approx 5.

Duties include, but not limited to invoicing, billing management, systems development and administration, financial management (AR and billing related), team management and stakeholder management.

The incumbent will have strong business process and continuity experience, a strong business acumen and someone constantly working to innovate and streamline processes and procedures for optimal departmental performance.

Education:

BCom in Finance / Accounting / Business

Skills & Experience:

5 to 6 years experience in a billing manager or supervisor role within a shared services department is NON-NEGOTIABLE

Strong people management skills

Strong computer literacy

Strong personality

Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment

Team player

Someone who are prepared to work extended hours when need be
