POSITION INFO:
You’ll form part of a high-performing finance team, supporting the financial management of a diverse property portfolio. Your role will focus on ensuring accurate reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and delivering insights that support both internal stakeholders and external clients. This position is ideal for a Financial Accountant who enjoys working in a structured, service-driven environment with exposure to property portfolios and client-facing finance.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review monthly management accounts for property portfolios
Manage month-end processes, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations
Oversee lease accounting, recoveries, and tenant billing processes
Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax, VAT, and property-related regulations
Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements (AFS) and audits

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Strong financial reporting and IFRS knowledge
Experience with property or portfolio accounting (advantageous)
Understanding of lease agreements, recoveries, and billing processes
ERP system experience (advantageous)
High attention to detail and strong analytical ability
Ability to manage multiple portfolios and meet tight deadlines
BCom Degree in Accounting (essential)
3–5 years’ experience in a Financial Accountant role
Experience within property management or real estate environments advantageous
