Our client is an expanding powerhouse that needs a Full Finance Function expert to step up and own their specialized finance department.

POSITION INFO:
This is a role for the independent high-achiever. You’ll join a fast-paced, collaborative squad where your technical skills in VAT, PAYE, and corporate tax actually matter. Forget micro-management - this position is designed for someone ready to take full charge, lead audit preps, and drive the financial governance of a well-established brand.

Key Responsibilities:

General Ledger Boss: Oversee the GL, including all journal entries and monthly reconciliations.
Reporting Lead: Draft and review management accounts, financial schedules, and specialized reports.
Tax & Compliance Guru: Manage all VAT, PAYE, and corporate income tax submissions while handling B-BBEE and FICA requirements.
Audit & Budgeting: Lead the year-end closing cycles and act as the primary liaison for external auditors.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or Finance.
Experience: 3+ years in a dedicated accounting and tax-focused role.
Skills: Advanced MS Excel and technical fluency with modern accounting software.
Non-negotiables: In-depth knowledge of VAT, PAYE, and corporate tax laws with a solid grip on IFRS/GAAP.
