POSITION INFO:

Do you enjoy being a hands-on Bookkeeper? This busy environment might just be what you are looking for. Join the small team as the Bookkeeper, assisting the Accountant with financial support.

Requirements:

Matric
Bookkeeping Certificate / Diploma
Min 5 years working experience in Bookkeeping
Strong knowledge of Cash Book, Trial Balance, Debtors/Creditors, Sales Journals, Invoicing and Costing
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Proficiency in any Accounting software

Responsibilities:

Maintain and reconcile the cash book
Prepare and manage the trial balance
Handle debtors and creditors accurately and timeously
Process the sales journal
Issue and reconcile invoices and receipts
Manage costing for products/services
Assist with general accounting and finance duties as required
