JOB SUMMARY:
A hands on B.K to trial balance / administrator required for a fast paced small eventing company with corporate clients.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Looking for a hands-on Office / Finance controller, that is happy and able to work under pressure and manage your varied days / duties, in a calm and orderly manner.

To manage the accounting process from generating financial data, operational financial requirements as well as reporting and managing with direct access to the managing owners of the company.

The nature of the business is very fluid and requires one to be flexible in your approach to what is required from you on a daily basis. A strong personality is needed in order to keep the protocols in place with regards to weekly payments and requirements for these transactions.

A team environment, which requires a team player to be able to embrace this.

Office based Monday - Friday 9 – 4h30 NO remote working

Duties:-

Some PA duties to the directors, including but not limited to personal payments on their behalf.

HR duties, as well as the salary processing (although this is processed offsite and requires incorporation into the accounting system)

Debtors capture & control as well as management of receipts and cashflow

Creditors review on receipt from creditors clerk

Cashbook capture and recon

Cash flow management, review and reports

Bookkeeping to T.B

Weekly payments (twice a week) as well as salary and month end payments.

Review of costing & final cost recon from / for production team

Financial reporting for managers and preparing accounts to audit level.

Reviewing of contracts and completion of vendor applications.

Sales and ticketing functions for major hospitality events (currently 2 annually)

Management of a creditors control clerk under your staff.

MIN. REQUIREMENTS:

Bookkeeping / Accounting Qualification (Dip.)

Min. 7 – 10 years in the same job specification is mandatory,

Pastel Partner exp. essential

Relevant background checks will be performed & References will be required.
