Branch Consultant

SUMMARY:
Our client in Gqeberha/Port Elizabeth is seeking a driven and client-focused branch consultant to join their branch team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing expert financial advice, assisting clients with loan applications and debt consolidation and ensuring exceptional service delivery at branch level.

POSITION INFO:
Key responsibilities:

• Provide tailored financial services and product advice to clients
• Assist with personal loan applications and debt consolidation solutions
• Maintain a high level of client satisfaction and professional service
• Meet daily/weekly targets
• Support branch operations and contribute to overall branch success

• Matric certificate (Grade 12) – compulsory
• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Business Management, or a related field – advantageous but not essential

• 1–3 years in micro-lending, retail banking, or financial services
• Experience in debt consolidation or collections – advantageous
• Proven background in client-facing roles – essential

• Strong sales and negotiation ability
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
• Good understanding of credit risk and lending policies
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook

• Honest, trustworthy, and reliable
• Professional and client-oriented approach
• Detail-focused with strong accuracy
• Problem-solving mindset and initiative-driven
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet targets
• Fluency in Xhosa and English will be an advantage
• Clear credit record – mandatory
• No criminal record – mandatory
• Must be a South African citizen or hold a valid work permit
