Branch manager

Our client has the widest range of aluminium, decking, trusses, hardware, tools, and safety equipment. They are seeking a dynamic and energetic individual to lead their team at the branch in Velddrif, West Coast.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

1. Directing all operational aspects of the branch, including:

• • Maintaining customer service standards
  • Increasing Branch sales and reaching sales targets
  • Stock control and monitoring of stock movement
  • Distribution and logistics operations
  • Human Resources administration, performance management, motivating staff and driving the company values and behaviours, training and development of staff, and branch OHS
  • Maintaining overall branch administration
  • Branch and cash security
  • Repairs and maintenance of buildings and equipment

2. Assists in creating and implementing strategies that grow and improve productivity and sales performance to achieve the organisation's strategic goals.
3. Networks to improve the presence and the reputation of the Company Brand
4. Adheres to high ethical standards and ensures that all company procedures and policies are implemented and maintained within the branch
5. Works closely with all other departments within the organization

The ideal candidate will have:

• Building Material Knowledge and Experience in the field of construction material sales
• At least a Business Management certificate/degree or equivalent qualification
• A proven track record with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar concern
• Exceptional communication and negotiating skills
• Proficiency in report writing and business communication systems (MS Office and Excel, MS Teams, Zoom conferencing software)
• Valid driver’s licence.

Remuneration

• R30,000 – R35 000 cost to company per month.
