JOB SUMMARY:
Our Client, compressed air filtration specialists, requires a Branch Manager for their Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha branch.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

DUTIES
  • Oversee all operations of the branch
  • Business development to increase client base
  • Service and call on all customers, ensure quotes are done asap, ensure all orders are processed, ensure parts are picked up and delivered to the branch, once parts have arrived, make arrangements with the customers when to service and document on the planning board.
  • Scheduling of jobs
  • Be on standby 24/7 should customers have any breakdowns and organise technicians to attend to breakdown
  • Cost saving: Ensure jobs are coordinated and planned from a fuel and vehicle maintenance point of view.
  • Oversee administration and stock control in the branch
  • Oversee technicians
  • Stakeholder engagement/resolving customer queries
  • Ensure workshop is clean and tidy
  • Ensure Invoicing is done from the first day of the month.
  • Debtors – phone customers for late payments.
  • Update monthly report on a weekly basis to keep track of all jobs.
  • Weekly meeting with head office to report on pipeline, debtors, rentals and other operational issues
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have extensive Admin and operations experience, at least 10 years
  • Experience leading a team/ branch
  • Compressor experience preferred
  • Must have technical experience
  • Sales experience would be great
  • Must have a strong personality and work ethic
