The Branch Manager will oversee operations at the Gauteng branch of a waste management company. This leadership role is responsible for optimizing branch performance through effective management of people, processes, logistics, and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring strong operational expertise and a passion for driving sustainable business practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Labour Management: Lead workforce planning, staff development, and performance optimization.

• Logistics Management: Coordinate efficient and timely collection of recyclable materials.

• Inventory Management: Monitor and control stock levels, including mass balancing.

• Productivity Improvements: Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

• Quality Control: Ensure operational processes meet high quality standards.

• Risk & Safety Management: Develop and enforce workplace safety protocols.

• Asset Management: Oversee proper use and maintenance of company assets.

• Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Daily SIC Reviews: Conduct structured reviews to monitor and improve performance.

• Sales Management: Manage the branch's sales activities to meet revenue targets.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Tertiary qualification in Manufacturing, Logistics, or Finance

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of waste management is advantageous

• Strong computer skills: MS Office (Excel) and Pastel
