SUMMARY:

Brand Manager – FMCG (Cape Town)

Our client, a leading food manufacturer, is seeking a Brand Manager to drive brand growth and positioning within the FMCG market. The role is responsible for developing and executing brand strategies that strengthen consumer loyalty, support product growth, and enhance the company’s overall market presence.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Positioning

Conduct consumer and market research to identify insights and opportunities.
Develop and implement data-driven brand strategies and messaging.
Ensure consistent brand identity and tone across all platforms and touchpoints.
Align internal teams around brand vision and values.

Marketing Planning & Execution

Translate strategy into actionable marketing and promotional campaigns.
Manage end-to-end execution across digital, in-store, and traditional media.
Collaborate with the broader marketing team to ensure brand consistency.

Market & Consumer Insights

Track competitor activity, category trends, and evolving consumer behaviour.
Use insights to guide innovation and maintain brand relevance.

Performance & Reporting

Monitor campaign effectiveness and report on key marketing metrics.
Ensure marketing spend aligns with budget and business priorities.

Public Relations & Digital Presence

Strengthen brand visibility through PR, media engagement, and influencer partnerships.
Oversee social media and digital communication for brand consistency.

Sales & Business Support

Support sales objectives through effective brand activation and trade marketing initiatives.

Health & Safety

Adhere to all company safety policies and participate in relevant training.

Requirements

Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
3+ years’ experience in Brand or Marketing Management within FMCG.
Proven project management and creative development skills.
Strong understanding of digital, social media, and e-commerce marketing.
Entrepreneurial mindset, hands-on approach, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
