As the Brand Manager, you will be responsible for further developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans for the company, and to drive high growth whilst building a strong, market leading brand. Your day-to-day tasks will include, deriving managing, coordinating and actioning marketing activities, both internally, as well as working closely with our partners to imbed these things into the trade and into the market. 

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely as member of the management team to define overall marketing strategy and drawing up marketing plans in support of the company strategy.
  • Developing cost-effective marketing plans to maximise ROI on marketing spend.
  • Taking responsibility for the execution of the business marketing plans.
  • Managing media and marketing staff and external PR and design agencies.
  • Approving and overseeing the creative development of promotional materials, online content, advertisements, and other marketing-related material
  • Analysing the effectiveness of all marketing efforts including their contribution to the effectiveness of sales campaigns.
  • Researching and evaluating new product opportunities, demand for potential products and customer needs and insights.
  • Experimenting with a variety of journalists, organic and paid acquisition channels – content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, and performance analysis. 
  • Serving as a partner to finance and product development in determining the viability of potential markets before production of a product with no business case or strategy prepared in advance.

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, or a related field
  • Has more than 3 years’ experience in relevant field
  • Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing and extensive experience in setting up and optimizing Google and Facebook campaigns
