SUMMARY:
Our client, a well-known name in their industry, is looking for YOU to join their team if you are an awesome, energetic and enthusiastic BRAND MANAGER.

POSITION INFO:

You will support the marketing manager to drive the digital media strategy, implement conversion campaigns and actively engage and support portal projects to improve online conversion % and achieve online sales targets 

Job Output

Digital media strategy

  • Working closely with the MM and media agency strategist, develop and adapt digital media strategy to reach target audiences and drive online conversion.
  • Track and use performance data to guide campaigns.
  • Look and explore new channels, including lead gen sites.
  • Manage budgets and agency relationships.
  • Lead the move towards activity that is in line with digital best practice.
  • Monitor competitor activity.

 

Implement digital conversion campaigns.

  • Plan, implement and manage paid search and other conversion campaigns in line with digital strategy and SEO plan.
    • Includes creatives and media budget.
    • Manage agency and internal design resources to deliver to plan.
    • Implement lead gen site relationships/ campaigns.

 

Lead and manage SEO.

  • Track performance of SEO
  • Manage agency to complete SEO reviews.
  • Guide and lead SEO best practice across site including help content/ product copy.
  • Work closely with the Ecommerce manager/ Dev teams to implement site changes required to improve SEO.

 

Portal copy and messaging

  • Implement portal banners and work to continually improve conversion performance.
    • Implement brand visuals/updates and ensure the site is aligned to brand.
    • Support the Ecommerce manager on site development, testing, visual updates and copy with the aim to align to brand visual and tone and ensure message consistency.
    • Working with the Ecommerce manager and to the character limits and site structure, support the PM’s and PO’s by completing copy required including product friendly names.

 

Team leadership

  • Guide and lead the Designer: online.

 Skills and Competencies 

  • Highly analytical with experience and a passion for online data
  • Experience working with online campaign and GA performance data.
    • Must show experience converting key insights gained from these data sources, into actionable campaigns.
    • High action orientation and attention to detail
      • Must show sales performance drive and how have taken action in the past  to change activity to drive sales.
      • Be able to operate in fast paced, pressurized situations.
        • Exceptional written English skills, experience, and ability to draft appropriate keyword and other online copy.
        • Demonstrate experience with SEO campaigns.
        • Advanced Excel skills
        • High levels of tech/ connectivity interest and understanding.
          • High levels of initiative and self -management

 

Qualifications and Experience 

  • Marketing qualification. Degree or Diploma with digital marketing focus
  • Google Analytics certification
  • Facebook media or other certifications valuable
    • 5 years+ experience in planning, executing and tracking performance of online awareness and conversion marketing campaigns across range online media channels.
    • Must demonstrate experience working across different media channels and the interaction between these channels, including paid search, SEO, programmatic media, social media, mass reach media and other.
    • Must demonstrate experience working on consumer brands. Those operating within Ecommerce and tech/IT category experience a distinct advantage.
    • Must demonstrate analytical ability to work with data, drawing insights and action steps from data and how these impact future campaigns.
    • Must demonstrate Google Analytics experience
      • Must demonstrate experience working with both media and creative agencies including briefing, managing delivery and budgets.
      • Will be required to demonstrate experience and expertise with an assessment as part of the interview process.
