Brand Manager: Zambia

SUMMARY:

Purpose
This role is open to a creative, innovative and sharp-minded individual who is well-positioned to lead strategic initiatives aimed at optimising the company's brand experience and driving revenue growth in Zambia. This role will play a key part in shaping the future of the company's brand through innovative marketing strategies and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support in developing insightful marketing strategies aligned with the company's brand strategy and plans for the countries for which they are responsible, in partnership with the Franchisee.
• Analyse trends and statistics across different markets and menus, setting pricing and strategic direction through analytics.
• Travel to all respective markets to gain insights into the competitive landscape and an understanding of the country in order to ensure relevant plans are developed and executed.
• Provide support in developing relevant consumer insights, Media, NPD, packaging design and PR in conjunction with the Marketing Director and Marketing Excellence lead.
• Provide support in developing impactful advertising that is relevant, grows the company's brand over time and drives sales overnight.
• Provide input into the annual budgeting process and then manage the budget with the in-country brand team to achieve key objectives in their markets.

• Strictly open to Zambian Nationals.
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce or a related field.
• Post-Graduate qualification preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of and tangible experience working in the Zambia market preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years relevant business experience.
• Previously demonstrated experience in external relationship building.
• Valid driver's licence and a preparedness to travel.

• Excellent interpersonal and team interaction skills and abilities.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a high work ethic and the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• High analytical ability and experience in strategic direction setting using statistical data.
