Broker Regional Sales Manager – Coastal Regions

POSITION INFO:
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Broker Regional Sales Manager to lead broker and SMA (Short‑term Broker Relationship Consultant) sales strategy across the Western Cape, KwaZulu‑Natal & Eastern Cape . This role requires strong leadership, relationship management, and a proven track record in short‑term insurance. Role Purpose: Execute broker and SMA sales and management strategy across coastal regions Grow and maintain strong business relationships with brokers and SMA teams Educate brokers and SMA's on products to reduce compliance risks and enhance service standards Introduce new insurance products and drive adoption Motivate and inspire the Broker Sales and SMA Service Team Ensure compliance with legislative and process requirements Responsibilities: Build and maintain broker relationships through regular visits and consultations Provide product and process training to brokers and SMA's Manage staff resourcing, development, and performance Support SMA's with lead generation, onboarding, and compliance Monitor broker activities, commissions, and market trends Drive productivity, retention, and renewal growth Collaborate with underwriting and claims teams to reduce errors and improve service delivery Prepare reports and feedback for senior management Experience & Qualifications: Matric\/Grade 12 FAIS Regulatory Exams (RE1 & RE5) NQF Level 5 qualification in Commercial and Personal Insurance (or relevant field) Minimum 5 years' experience in short‑term insurance or financial services Minimum 5 years' experience working with brokers Strong knowledge of quotations, servicing, claims, compliance, and legislation Proficiency in PowerPoint and other presentation tools Ability to present professionally to executives and corporate accounts Employment Details: Position Type: Permanent Location: Durban OR Cape Town Date: ASAP Salary: Market related (negotiable based on experience) If you're a strategic leader with strong broker relationship management skills and a passion for driving growth, this is your opportunity to make an impact in the coastal regions.
