POSITION INFO:

Our Client a Global Tech firm is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team in Cape town on a 12 month contract. They offer stability, competitive rates, growth and an excellent working environment.

As a Business Analyst, you''ll be responsible for analyzing data to identify the key business processes and translating them into clear information. You will use this information to create reports which can then be used by other members of the team. You will work closely with clients, project managers, and developers in order to make sure all deadlines are met on time.

Requirements

• Defining Network Services Requirements from User Departments for inclusion into the services catalog;
• Ability to multitask in an advanced operational support environment;
• Engagements with business to define, develop, document, enhance and/or maintain artifacts;
• Elicit, analyse and document functional requirements as appropriate from an ICT perspective (which may require leading or working as part of a team to gather requirements);
• Conduct requirements management activities, as necessary, ensuring that the impact of changes is well understood and approved by the appropriate stakeholders within the Clients;
• IT Service Continuity Management - Business Continuity or IT Recovery Planning;
• Audit reporting;
• Operational support to the ITSCM Process Owner
• Review ITSCM documentation as and when required and conduct periodic Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Technical Impact Analysis (TIA) across departments
• Written communication and report writing skills;
• Conflict management;
• Ability to collaborate and work as a part of a team;
• Ability to be self-managed, ethical, and honest;
• Ability to be respectful and seek to build relationships;
• Have a pragmatic approach to business transformation;
• Strong presentation skills at board level (EXCO, CTM, etc.);
• Relevant technical skills and experience;
• Relevant knowledge and experience in the business; and
• Experience and capability of leading IT technologies.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) Certificate or evidence of minimum NQF Level 4
• Business Analyst Certification or Courses relevant to the business analysis discipline;
• Related collective 5-year experience in the same or similar role;
• Evidence of service rendered in an organization of 500+ users (evidence of at least one organization to be reflected in CV)
