Business Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Business Analyst to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and delivering data-driven insights to support decision-making and promote operational efficiency. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements from stakeholders.
• Evaluate current business processes and identify opportunities for optimisation.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and use cases.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications for technical teams.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to support strategic planning.
• Create dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Support project management functions, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Perform gap analysis and propose practical, effective solutions.
• Develop business cases, including cost-benefit analyses, to support new initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with IT and development teams to align solutions with business goals.
• Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT), including test plans and test case development.
• Monitor project timelines, scope, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations.
• Provide post-implementation support and assess solution impact.
• Assist with strategic planning, change management, and training initiatives.
• Evaluate vendor solutions and contribute to RFP/RFI processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies during implementation.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business analysis or a similar role.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Solid understanding of business process modelling and improvement techniques.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).
• Familiarity with enterprise systems such as CRM or ERP.
