Business Analyst

SUMMARY:
Our Benoni client is looking for a Business System Analyst to analyse and improve their JD Edward system and all their IT system to meet business requirements.

POSITION INFO:

Education & Experience Required:

• Matric and IT Qualification
• 5+ years Systems Analysis experience (Strong Analytical Skill essential).
• 5+ years experience in JD Edwards preferable version 8.11
• 5+ years experience in BI Publisher/ BI Suite
• 5+ years experience in business intelligence and data warehousing
• 5+ years experience in Project Management

Duties & Responsibilities

• Designing new systems and frameworks
• Maintaining and upgrading existing system requirements as required
• Collaborating with Business, Project Leads and IT team to resolve issues and ensuring solutions are viable and consistent
• Assisting with integration and acceptance testing
• Supporting the development of training and implementation Assisting in Risk mitigation planning
• Creating or updating system guidelines and manuals for the organisation
• Conducting regular reviews of systems and generating reports on efficiencies and improvement areas
• Running training sessions and workshops on system processes
• Structuring and prioritising business requirements and communicating plans with stakeholders for review and approval
• Developing a clear understanding of all existing data requirements
• Supporting initiatives to improve reporting quality
• Working with stakeholders at all levels as defined by the individuals project
• Improving the quality of the products and services delivered by IT
• material
• Providing support during and post implementation
• Acting as a “translator” between the business and IT
• Developing project plans and providing project management assistance.
